Continue along the main street, taking care not to cross the Limited Traffic Zone, you will be able to park in the car parks delimited by blue lines.
The distance between the highway exit of La Spezia and Portovenere is about 25 kilometres (35/40 min).
The nearest airport to Portovenere is Pisa Airport (Galileo Galilei).
Leaving the airport, it is possible to continue the journey by train arriving at La Spezia Centrale, then proceed by bus or ferry to Portovenere (The boat landing stage is located on the Morin seaside promenade, at the end of the pedestrian center.
The distance from Pisa Aeroporto station to La Spezia Centrale station is 65 kilometers.
From La Spezia FS, you should go to the bus stop in Viale Garibaldi, choosing the P - Portovenere line.
Public transport is ideal for moving between the various connections in the city. If you arrive from Lerici, you can choose the boat that will take you to Portovenere in just 20 minutes, or you can take the bus to La Spezia (Via Chiodo) and from there take the P - direct Portovenere line. The time to reach Portovenere varies from 35 to 40 min.
Starting from the first weekend in April, the Girobus service will resume in Porto Venere. As usual, the service will connect the Cavo area (where the "Il Golfo" car park is located) with the town centre. The service will run according to the following schedule: from 02/04 to 29/05 (including Friday 15/04 and Monday 18/04)
- Timetable: from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. with frequency every 15 minutes except for: Saturday 02/04 beginning at 7.00 a.m. and end at 11.00 p.m. with frequency every 15 minutes; Sunday 03/04 beginning at 8.00 a.m. and end at 11.00 p.m. with frequency every 15 minutes from 02/06 to 05/06
- Timetable: 9.00 to 24.00 every 15 minutes from 11/06 to 18/09 daily from 08.00 to 24.00 Monday to Friday.
On weekends in July and August (Saturdays and Sundays) extended service until 1.00 a.m.; from 24/9 to 02/11: weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays) with the addition of Monday 31/10 and Tuesday 01/11 from 09.00 to 23.00 a.m.; The ticket (A/R valid for two journeys) will be sold on board the bus at a cost of € 2.00
PORTOVENERE PARKING RATES
To enjoy your stay in Portovenere without worries, we recommend Portovenere Parking, the only guarded car park accessible from the main road and with staff assistance.
The price of parking for 24h is 32 € in low season and 40 € for 24h in high season (June to September).
The address is 'Via Garibaldi 5',along the road to Ca' Amae Suite, a 150-metre walk away. If you wish to use the Portovenere Parrking we will reserve it for you.
It is compulsory to leave the keys with the valet until the day of departure.
The amount will be paid directly at the car park offices.
